royalquiz is a place for people to share knowledge and enjoy each others talent for creating quizzes. We are an online quiz community where anyone can play and share quizzes created by our members.

How do I sign up?

To become a member, click the "Sign up" link in the header above. Choose a username and password and then click Sign up. It only takes a minute and it's free.

Is memberquiz free?

Yes! Just sign up and you are ready to create quizzes of your own.

How do I create a quiz?

Click "CREATE QUIZ" in the main menu and follow five simple steps.
1. Info about how to create a quiz. Writing tips and more for your inspiration.
2. Name your quiz, add a description and choose the category that best suits it.
3. Write questions. 5-15 questions with 4 multiple choice answers each. Add pictures if you wish.
4. Review your quiz. Test the quiz and correct any mistakes.
5. Publish the quiz. Select if the quiz should be available for the general public and publish it.
Remember, you can take a break when you want and return later.

How do I find quizzes created by other members?

Click "FIND QUIZ" in the main menu. Browse the quizzes in the listings och use the "Search" field on your upper right. By clicking "Categories" you will find all quizzes sorted by subject.

How do I share a quiz?

There are two principle ways of sharing a quiz:
1. Use the link to the quiz and send it in a message (e-mail, instant message, blog post etc).
2. Use the code provided to embed it as a widget on your website, blog or personal page (MySpace, msn Spaces etc).
You will find the link and the embed code under the "Share" section on the the quiz page.
You can share any quiz, both those you created yourself and those created by other members.

How difficult are the questions?

How much do you know? Obviously the difficulty of the quizzes vary with your knowledge in the particular subject. In order to give you a hint on the difficulty, all quizzes are automatically rated either Hard, Medium or Easy based on the results of the players that have taken the quiz before you.

What are the stars all about?

The stars represent the members rating of the quiz. After you have played a quiz you can rate it - it's one of the ways that you can express what you think of it.

Can I write quizzes about anything?

Yes! Or no. You are free to choose whatever subject you like as long as you stick to our Terms of Use. We don't accept bad language or any kind of inappropriate content.

Can I add a comment to a quiz?

Yes, you can. And you should! Say what you think of the quiz or write tips to the author. Maybe you have something to add to the subject? We encourage a discussion as long as it is relevant.

What if I don't want everyone to see my quiz?

You can choose to make your quiz private. A private quiz is not displayed on the website, for instance if you have written internally for your friends. Otherwise we recommend that you always show your quiz - or no one will find and rate it.

I forgot my username and/or password. What can I do?

Click the "Forgot password?" link in the login section. An e-mail with a link will be sent to your address. Follow the link and choose a new password.

Can I have more than one account on memberquiz.com?

No. To protect the integrity of the system, our policy is that a user is only allowed to have one account. Creating multiple accounts is against our Terms of Use.

How do I upload a picture to my profile?

Click the "upload" link in the My royalquiz section. Click "Upload picture" under the default portrait and select a picture that you want to display.

How do I find and edit my quizzes?

Under "Created quizzes" in the "My royalquiz" section you will find links to your "finished" and "unfinished" quizzes. Follow one of the links and click "edit" to make changes to the quiz.
